The brand behind is pretty new and is expecting to open the UAE market. Let’s find out more about Jada Dubai directly from the Chief Designer, Maria Majari.
JADA DUBAI BEGINNINGS
Maria Majari, the Chief Designer and Co-Founder of the brand says it all started more than a year ago. After she studied fashion in ESMOD Paris and ESMOD Dubai, and she met her partner- Elena Traistaru-, that was into the business of fashion. They both had a special affinity for fashion, so decided to start together a project that would bring real exclusivity to the fashion world.
“The challenge for us was to transform our dreamlike shoes into reality.”
“The shoe industry appeared to us very challenging because it is very difficult to find a brand that has such a high level of exclusivity, that sells in very limited quantities and that, at the same time, creates something truly unique. We use only diamonds, semi-precious gemstones, and the highest quality Italian leather. The challenge for us was to transform our dreamlike shoes into reality.”
The design process took a few months and resulted in a portfolio of sketches. The next step was a meeting with experts from the Italian footwear industry. We selected only 5 models from the portfolio. They represent the best Jada´s idea. They are glamorous, exclusive, and unique shoes reflecting the Royal Dream of the city of Dubai. After selecting the 5 final models, they had several appointments with shoemakers all around Italy, since many of them advised them to make adjustments and changes to the models.
At the end, they decided to work with an artisan in Venice and also brought in jewelers and gold experts.
WHAT DREAM SHOES ARE MADE OF?
Of course, that was the next question for Maria Majari.
“The materials we use for our shoes are:
- Diamonds (white and black, and in different sizes) brilliant-cut or rose-cut.
- Semi-precious gemstones, from white sapphire, emeralds, rubies to topaz, citrine, rose quartz, etc. The gemstones are brilliant-cut, as well as cabochon cut.
- Yellow gold and platinum in a mix that is applied in the interior and the soles of the shoes.
- Highest quality Italian leather.”
After the designing process that took around 5 months, the process of manufacturing in Italy took almost 1 year because of a series of challenges.
What challenges?
For example, creating the mixture of the yellow gold and the platinum that would be suitable to be applied to the shoes. We wanted it to be resistant and not scratch. Another challenge was the selection of the precious stones or the creation of the shoe accessories like the snake or the crown.
What is the name of this first collection?
Our collection is called “The Imperative of Royalty” and it is inspired by royal women that changed the course of history. Think of Grace Kelly, Cleopatra, Princess Diana, or Empress Josephine.
Our shoes target the woman that is born into royalty, or if not, looks like one. We want to bring back glamour, timeless elegance, power, and eternal beauty.

How much could these beauties cost?
The price of the shoes starts from $5000. This price range means that the incorporated amount of diamonds is less, and the diamonds and the semi-precious gemstones are smaller.
It can reach higher prices depending on the request of every client. The masterpiece of the collection is priced at $300.000-over 1 million Dhs- and is only 1 piece available worldwide.
Tell me more about this shoe?
Jada Dubai’s Masterpiece incorporates diamonds of 1 carat -54 carats in total-, 416.2 carats of white sapphires, and our signature, a mix of gold and platinum that can be found in the interior and on the soles.
We offer two years of International Warranty starting from the date of purchase, as well as Authenticity Card for the diamonds and the semi-precious gemstones. The shoes come in a red velvet-gold box where the clients can find the instruction booklet which shows how to take care of their precious shoes.
Where can we find your shoes?
We are preparing the launch of our collection that is scheduled to happen next month in Dubai. At the moment, we are online, but after the official launch, we are planning to collaborate with very exclusive shops. So, potential buyers will be able to purchase some of the creations in very limited quantities.
Do you do customization too?
Yes, we offer what we called V.I.P services. There, Jada Dubai customers will be able to sit with me and transform their dreamlike shoes into reality, by customizing existing models or creating their own pair of shoes starting from scratch.
For example, recently we had a special order for a Princess from Dubai. The red shoes with the crown, which incorporates 180 carats rubies and 33 carats brilliant-cut diamonds and 24K gold.
