Every season of Fashion Forward you can find the so-called Garden (no plants here though). It is a very well-stocked area full of booths with accessories designers showing their creations. This season we had not only designers’ booths but also online shops and physical shops. All showing their beautiful products.
We visited them all and our editors selected some pieces for a special editors´ picks Fashion Forward accessories.

ACCESSORIES WE LOVED FROM THE GARDEN!
THE CARTEL
Taiwen Chen, our beauty editor, selected a black minimalistic square bag that goes perfectly with this oversized leather necklace and matching earrings. All of it, coming from The Cartel.
The Cartel is one of the coolest shops in Dubai. It has been around from 2012 thanks to the good taste and management of May Barber. May´s concept store has been housing regional and international emerging talent. Now you can buy online and at the store in Dubai Design District.
RULA GALAYINI– CHARLOTTE HUDDERS–MARGHERITA
Marta Garrido, our Arts & Lifestyle editor, selected this gorgeous clutch from Rula Galayini. She matched it with a gorgeous hand-painted silk scarf from Charlotte Hudders and a very architectural pendant from Margherita.

Her designs, always sophisticated and in very curated materials and shapes are easily recognizable. She likes structural shapes and really cool handles. Check this bag out! It is out of this world.
Charlotte Hudders is an artist and she expresses it on every surface you can think of. She can customize bags, shoes, and have created beautiful prints for her unique silk scarves. Her illustrations can be found at Harvey Nichols and Level shoes as part of the customization service. She can do out of anything a beautiful piece of wearable art.
Margherita offers a beautiful range of jewelry with a very architectural touch. Ghita Abi- Hanna, the designer behind, gets her inspiration from windows, doors, fixtures etc of all types and times. The pendant Marta selected is inspired by a set of windows in an old building in Beirut.
NARINÉE– DUET LUXURY
Julia Garcia, our Arts and Lifestyle editor, picked this beautiful bag of Duet Luxury and a ring and a pendant from Narinée. She shows how accessories can complement any look and make you look- and feel- like a million dollar baby!
Duet Luxury is the brainchild of a quite particular duet: Priyanka Baid and Shruti Bansal. Their structural bags are gorgeous and each is different. Made out of wood, they boast different designs, colors, and handles.
Narinée is the namesake brand of Lebanese Armenian designer Narinée Tchilinguirian. She loves playing with traditional shapes but with untraditional materials. The pomegranate pendant Julia picked, for example, is done with gold and pearls. But she uses also plastic. A very soft, lovely-to-touch plastic.
VINITA MICHAEL
It is not that Vinita Michael is one of our editors, but she was showing us her pieces with so much passion that we decided she will be the best model for her own brand. And check out the pics, we were not mistaken!
All the pieces of jewelry she is wearing are part of her collection. The moon brooch, the earrings, and the bag. Mind you, the bag is a surprise that will let you in awe. The bag is composed of many pieces. But at the same time, each of those pieces is a unique piece of jewelry that can be removed from the frame. So, you can detach from the bag, a pendant, a ring, a set of earrings, a bracelet etc.. and all together they compose the bird shape bag. Totally cool and royal!
BIJA– JOUD DESIGN
Julia and the team went to the Molecule. A cool restaurant at Dubai Design District that offers yummy food and has a cool design. For this shooting, she selected some jewelry pieces of Bija and matched them with a gorgeous bag from Joud Design. She looks gorgeous in turquoise, doesn’t she?

Big colorful chunky stones, Swarovski, organized in cool shapes and bound together with gold plated metal, fabric or threads, seems to be the signature. Definitely fun is part of Bija´s DNA.
Joud Design is coming all the way from Jordan. Joud Shurrab is the designer behind. She illustrates her bags with cool pretty dolls and messages in Arabic. She can also do customizations if requested but she has a stable line of products and they look great!
BIJA– FASHION PIRATE–THARB– CHARLOTTE HUDDERS
Marta selected these gorgeous earrings from Bija, the cool sunglasses from Fashion Pirate shop, the bag from Emirati brand Tharb and the scarf from Charlotte Hudders.
Tharb is an Emirati brand that is the brainchild of Eisa Alsubousi. His designs are simple, yet beautiful and the quality of the leather is sublime.
Fashion Pirate, our lovely influencer Zeynab El-Helw, started her online shop some time ago and it is full of accessories. There you can find really cool curated pieces by her. This sunglasses caught our attention and here they are!
