New York is the undisputed capital of international fashion. It is the city where fashion is born and where many of the international supermodels are discovered. The city that never sleeps hosted the Grammy Awards 2018. The 60th edition of the music Oscars brought together under one roof the best artists of the international musical landscape.
Of course, we love watching the parade of the music celebrities over the red carpet. For that special night, they prepare their looks with care- and in this edition also with meaning. So we have to admire not only their incredible voices and performances but also their sartorial choices.
As usual, the looks of female stars bewitched the public. They wanted to show their support to the #timesup movement by wearing white roses as a sign of solidarity.
WHAT CAUGHT OUR ATTENTION?
Lady Gaga went to the Grammy Awards with a majestic look: a wonderful jumpsuit from Armani Privé in black lace and a skirt. The skirt, opened at the front, had a huge back train. It took three assistants to fix it and make it perfect for the photographers’ flashes. She went for a remarkable braid as hairstyle and light makeup -looking like no makeup excepting the eyes that were dramatic but extremely elegant.

The multicolor jacket for Elton John- from Gucci- was definitely a call for attention. Lana Del Rey sported a gown of the Gucci brand too and embellishments over the head. Bebe Rexha dressed in a pearl mermaid-silhouette number. While the famous Playmate Jenny McCarthy trod the red carpet in a partially transparent black dress and blue hair.

The always sensual Rita Ora stole the flashes in a dress “Jessica Rabbit” style in Black Velvet from Ralph Lauren. Miley Cyrus changed her look, abandoned the past exaggerated look and returned to the more elegant and feminine “water and soap version”.
