With a touch of humor and precision he explains in his step by step videos how to get beautiful colorful manes. Neons, pastels, metallic shades of purples, pinks, blues, and mints are part of his magic palette.

How did it all started?
I started my career in Tulsa, Oklahoma USA, 13 years ago. After high school, I studied at beauty school– hair saved my life because at the time I did not know what I wanted to do with my life. I started doing hair and fell in LOVE right away.
When did you turn to colors?
Even before I went to beauty school, I was doing hair at home and practicing with my mom and closest friends. I was always fascinated with hair color. Hair Color expresses the inner artist in me.
Tell us the story of your gauntlets. They are so cool!
I LOVE cartoon characters, especially the XMEN. I feel like I get super powers when I wear my gauntlets. And YEASSSSS it looks cool.
PROTECTING OUR HAIR
How can we protect our hair when being bleached?
I always use Olaplex when bleaching. It is an indispensable product in my arsenal. Olaplex is the ONLY true bond builder in the market, and the only patented product available. I love it when using my new cream lightener Big9.
What product do you recommend to keep the color longer?
Color Safe shampoo and conditioner is a must. Other ways is to wash the hair with cold water, one to two times per week if you can, using dry shampoo in between. When using hot tools ALWAYS have the heat on low settings.
And any tips for the Middle East´s extreme heat and sunlight?
Avoid direct sunlight when you can. The sun will naturally bleach the hair, so covering in the sun is essential to keep the hair color lasting longer.
What is your favorite color when coloring the hair?
MyDentity – it’s my new color line soon to launch in the Global Markets in late 2017 early 2018…stay tuned!

What color would you give her?
I want to give her face framing highlights and blonde balayage ombre.
Who was your favorite work once finished?
To many to mention…but I love the one I created with Huda Kattan.
And who was… oh! Oh!… (not really what you were expecting)?
Tori Spelling. She wanted a change from having blonde hair for more than 20 years, and I gave her a pink ombre and it turned out really good. People loved it, and I was not expecting that…because everyone is so used to her being blonde.
How do you manage customers’ expectations?
Consultation is the key. Before I do anything with them, we discuss what their expectations are versus reality.

There is really no secret. I share my techniques and formulas and I talk to my #Hairbesties and we bounce back and forth positive ideas that help us all to grow and evolve together!
