RIHANNA LAUNCHES FENTY BEAUTY, HER NEW MAKEUP LINE

If you are into makeup, you are probably super excited about today´s launch: Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. If you didn’t know about it as yet, let us brief you.

FENTY BEAUTY

This is the latest new business venture of the super famous singer. And it has been long-awaited. Imagine, they announced this venture in 2016 when Riri signed a contract with the Kendo division of LVMH and is finally hitting the stores on September 8th.

Promotion is well taken care of. Even though it has been quite silent until recently with few teasers and Instagram pictures here and there. Rihanna wants the brand to stand for diversity, so she wants Fenty Beauty to cater for all ethnicities, body complexions, face shapes and colours. She got for the promotional video models like Paloma Elsesser, IndyaMarie Jean, Duckie Thot, Slick Woods, Selena Forrest, Leomie Anderson, Camila Costa and the lovely Halima Aden. Rihanna is not new to the makeup industry. The multifaceted Barbadian did a collaboration with MAC in 2013 and 2014 called “Riri hearts Mac” that was very successful. Do you remember that red lipstick?? It was simply awesome.

With regards to Fenty Beauty, so far everything has been very secretive. There is not much information out there as yet but after seeing the video it looks like it will be a whole range of products. We should expect foundations, lipsticks, cool eye shadows, lip gloss, blushes, highlighters etc etc..

The colours she selected seemed to be mostly nude, with some glitter, sparks and very shiny moisture lips. All in all the colours seem to be very easy to wear and fun to mix.

If you are in Dubai, you will be able to find the Fenty Beauty collection at all Sephora stores.
