Architecture, vintage jewelry, and textile.
Who do you have in mind when designing?
The line is centered on creating collectible high-end pieces for a woman who is confident, elegant and sophisticated; a woman who is looking for timeless, well-made and versatile attire.
Name the greatest designer ever in your opinion.
In my opinion, there is no “greatest designer ever”. Many are great in their own way, I admire Madeleine Vionnet’s draping techniques, Valentino’s craftsmanship, Jil Sanders attention to detail, Rick Owens fluidity, Helmut Lang minimalism, and many more!
What is your definition of beauty?
A positive attitude.

My collection is an homage to New York. The city is where my heart is, and where I’ve lived for many years. The architecture of the New York City Skyline was my inspiration, particularly the silhouette lines that reflect the Empire State Building, the distinctive Art Deco Ornaments, and the graceful Chrysler Building.

Emperor is built on the principle of making a man feel like an Urban Emperor. Our style is a balance of comfort without compromising a luxurious and fearless look.
What inspires you?
Detail in design, modern takes on Imperial regalia, architecture, the people around us.
Who do you have in mind when designing?
Our muse is an imaginary 4th brother that doesn’t exists. All of our three styles put together create something unique, a man that doesn’t exists, and he inspires us and the collection.
Name the greatest designer ever in your opinion.
Any designer that makes you look in the mirror and feel better about yourself and leave the house feeling confident is the greatest designer.
What is your definition of beauty?
Balance, proportion, confidence but not obnoxious.

Emperor was built on the principle of making the urban man feel like a Emperor through cut, fabric and quality. This attention to detail and attention to customers is something both Reebok and Emperor share; which lead to this exciting collaboration. We live in a climate where the boundaries between day and evening wear are quite blurry. This collaboration shows both Emperor and the Zoku runner in a sports and fashion environment; both attributes customers are looking for. Reebok thrives on creative freedom and the Emperor man is fearless, the result of which we are very excited to present at Fashion Forward Dubai.

What inspires you?
My surroundings are my most important inspiration. People I meet, places I visit, food I eat, books I read, art I witness and many other instances. Any of these occurrences can inspire me at any given point. Life is an inspiration.
Who do you have in mind when designing?
I do not have one particular muse. People are my muse. I am constantly surrounded by different people and they inspire me the most.
Name the greatest designer ever in your opinion.
I believe Tom Ford is one of the greatest designers to have ever existed.
What is your definition of beauty?
Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, is the statement I always go by. Beauty is not defined by size, color or any other barometers. I believe there are no standards to beauty, it is all about one´s personality and their way of presenting and carrying themselves in their surroundings.

The story of the collection is as follows…
The human race has forever been divided into many sectors on the basis of race, religion, financial strata and others. Owing to strong focus on all this division we fail to remember that we are ultimately the human race after all. This collection is a reminder of how important it is for us humans to understand that the unity in our diversity is our true strength. I visualize our differences as black and white, therefore this is my way of showcasing how our differences not only blend yet complement each other so beautifully and strongly. Hence, I call this collection ONE.

‘Liberta’ is the title of my Autumn/Winter 2017 collection and is all about citing the notion of freedom as a source of inspiration. I translated my vision from the draw board through experimenting with different styles, textures and tones that are rich and bold. Key pieces from the collection include dresses and coats that are structured in the bell sleeves, which become a decorative element of detail. Floor-length flowy dresses, trumpet sleeve shirts, oversized coats, also serve as a reminder that this was a collection designed with freedom in mind. We are excited for the launch of this collection and for the Kristina Fidelskaya brand to go global this year.

In this collection, I was inspired by the softness of the clouds, the architectural edginess of skyscrapers, the femininity I see in orchids’ curves and the stability of rocks when they get hit by waves. You will see real abayas, both basic and piece of art. Modern made with authenticity.

CHEYMA

Originally from: France
Brand Name: CHEYMA
How would you describe the style of your creations?
Cheyma is the promise of comfy-chic pieces, never compromising between comfort and sophistication thanks to the subtle combination of whimsically, serendipity and ethereality.
What inspires you?
Women, their complex personalities, their depth, their strength and fragility.
Who do you have in mind when designing?
The Cheyma muse is a delicate yet powerful women who knows about trends but is not afraid to break them. She has this inner beauty that makes her feel confident in her clothes. She’s fun and vibrant, she kept the mischief of her childhood.
Name the greatest designer ever in your opinion.
I wouldn’t be able to tell who the greatest is, but I can name my favorite: Victoria Beckham, a woman who’s managed to succeed in every aspect of her life, who caters women with clever constructed creations, an entrepreneur who isn’t scared by effort, risks and managing both a successful company and a beautiful family. She’s a role model.
What is your definition of beauty?
I would have to quote Gabrielle Chanel for this. “Beauty is embracing who you are”. I don’t think there is one definition of beauty, it would be too reductive. Beauty comes in all shapes and colors. You’re beautiful if you’re happy to be who you are.
Share the story or mood board that helped you create this collection you are showing at Fashion Forward. What can we expect to see?
Our previous collection was inspired of the Marie-Antoinette, a beautiful woman who kept her child soul. For the winter collection, we wanted to dig deeper in this notion, find the complex intertwining inside a woman’s mind making her so sweet and fragile but so strong and dark at times. Misty Romance was inspired by all these layers in a woman’s spirit, and we wanted to reproduce these many layers in in our creations with all the transparency games, the sheer tulle and lace.
