The Lebanese and Brazilian duo that compose AAVVA are everything about mixing. This latest AAVVA resort collection mixes sturdy neoprene and divine Swarovskis for elegant, very dressy numbers.
ABOUT AAVVA´S COLLECTION
Ahmad Ammar and Vincenzo Visciglia are presenting now 14 looks all with mermaid silhouettes and some flamenco flavour. Oversized frills on the top and at the bottom of the skirts makes simple, yet very architectural dresses that envelop delicately the women´s body.
The colours chosen for this resort collection are strong, very bold, with monochrome dresses of different greens, beige, grey, black, purple, soft pink and vibrant orange.
The cuts speak of self-confidence and boldness having one or even both shoulders off, generous boat necks, massive frills, cape looking tops, silk tassels, and embellishments with Swarovski beads and pearls.
These dresses will look great in posh events, like the recent red carpet of Dubai International Film Festival, special occasions or some of the many prizes and award ceremonies our beautiful city hosts.
The previous collection was called Enchanted Forest. It was also great for this kind of events where you need to dress up and you want to look astonishing. The dresses boasted embroidery, transparencies and airy fabrics.
Celebrities like Joelle or Katie Fielder and celebrity stylists like Mayssaf Assaf are devoted of this incipient brand.

At the editorial department of Dubai Fashion News we are in love with the silhouettes, sexy and very stylish. The architectural huge frills are fun and very eye catching.
We also like the fabrics. Mostly they used neoprene, but also crepe and stretch material that are very flattering and easy to maintain. This is key for us. If the garments are of low maintenance, it gets bonus points.

AAVVA resort collection is available at Galeries Lafayette in our super mega Dubai Mall. Also, you can go to see the pieces at the designers´s showroom and atelier located at the Dubai Design District (Building 5 /A-203).
